1. What documents do I need to rent a car?
To rent a vehicle, you will need to present the following original and valid documents: Official ID: For Mexicans, the INE credential; for foreigners, a passport. Driver’s license: Must be a valid license. If you are a foreigner, your license from your home country is usually sufficient, although in some cases an International Driving Permit may be requested.
